Hydrogen vehicle drivers can now charge their cars in Masanhwoe-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
On the 12th, the city held a completion ceremony for the first hydrogen charging station in Masanhwoe-gu, the ‘Masan Free Trade Zone Hydrogen Charging Station,’ located in front of the Masan Free Trade Zone Management Office.

원본보기 아이콘On this day, Ha Jongmok, the 1st Deputy Mayor, Kwak Geunyeol, Director of the Masan Free Trade Zone Management Office, Jo Gwangseok, Head of the Air Environment Management Division at the Nakdong River Basin Environmental Office, Choi Junggeun, Director of the Energy Industry Division of Gyeongsangnam-do, and Choo Seokgwon, Head of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation Gyeongnam Headquarters, attended.
Deputy Mayor Ha said, “By establishing a domestically produced high-performance hydrogen charging system made by a Korean hydrogen company, it is possible to charge 12 hydrogen passenger cars per hour, which is expected to greatly improve the convenience of hydrogen vehicle use and charging for residents of Masanhwoe-gu and companies located in the Masan Free Trade Zone.” He added, “We will do our best to provide convenient hydrogen charging services throughout the entire Changwon city area.”
