To participate, download the relevant form from the Firefighting Relics Archive and submit it via E-mail, or contact the relics officer at the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters by phone.
All donated relics will be registered as collections of the National Firefighting Museum for permanent preservation and exhibition, and will be used as educational materials to promote safety culture.
In particular, materials with high historical value will be nominated for designation as national registered cultural heritage and managed accordingly.
Donors will receive various benefits such as ▲issuance of donation certificates ▲invitations to various events and exhibitions ▲inclusion in the Hall of Fame donor list ▲and for large-scale donors, exclusive special exhibitions.
Chief Kim Su-hwan said, “We hope that the relics embodying the history of firefighting will become a source of pride not only for firefighters but for all citizens,” and added, “We ask for your interest and participation so that the history of firefighting can serve as a compass indicating the direction for future development.”
