As of 5 a.m. that day, temperatures in major areas are Seoul 6.7°C, Incheon 8.0°C, Suwon 6.1°C, Chuncheon 5.0°C, Gangneung 11.2°C, Cheongju 8.0°C, Daejeon 7.5°C, Jeonju 7.9°C, Gwangju 10.7°C, Jeju 13.3°C, Daegu 11.9°C, Busan 13.2°C, Ulsan 13.0°C, Changwon 11.9°C, and others.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to range from 13 to 21 degrees Celsius, similar to or slightly lower than the previous day (14 to 25 degrees Celsius).
The air is very dry in Gangwon Yeongdong, the coastal areas of Gyeongsang Province, and some inland parts of Gyeongsang Province, where dry weather warnings have been issued.
In Gangwon Yeongdong, where a forest fire has occurred, winds are expected to blow strongly during the day with gusts exceeding 15 meters per second.
Due to the strong winds, small sparks could spread into large fires, so special caution is required to prevent forest fires and other types of fires.
Fine dust levels are expected to be at a "very bad" level across all regions.
Yellow dust originating from China is flowing in, and yellow dust is being observed in most parts of the country, with the possibility of its effects continuing until the next day.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
