Ulsan City will conduct the "2023 Ulsan City Social Survey" from the 14th to the 27th of this month.
The social survey is conducted annually to understand matters related to the overall quality of life of citizens, predict social changes, and suggest proper policy directions. In Ulsan, it first started in 1998 and this year marks the 26th survey.
This survey will be conducted on the heads of households and household members aged 15 or older in 3,820 households across 191 survey districts residing in Ulsan City.
The survey items cover a total of 9 areas with 131 questions, including education, culture and leisure, information and communication, income and consumption, labor and employment, public administration and others, youth, and population outflow.
The survey will be conducted through face-to-face interviews with surveyors visiting the target households directly. The responses will be strictly protected in accordance with Article 33 of the Statistics Act, "Confidentiality Protection."
An official from Ulsan City stated, "Although the on-site visits will be conducted while COVID-19 has not yet ended, we will actively implement infection prevention and safety management guidelines and prioritize the safety of respondent households."
