Hugel recently announced on the 12th that it participated in the "10th China Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Conference" hosted by the Chinese Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, held in Chongqing, China.
At this conference, Hugel conducted an exclusive academic symposium on the botulinum toxin (BTX) formulation "Retivo (Botulax)" together with its Chinese distribution partner, Meiyankongjian under Sahwan Pharmaceutical.
Ji Seung-wook, head of Hugel Shanghai Esthetics, Hugel's Chinese subsidiary, broadly discussed the product strength of Retivo as well as the development direction of the Chinese botulinum toxin market with local medical and aesthetic industry stakeholders.
Following this, lectures on toxin injection techniques for different body parts by local doctors were held. Tian Fengfei, director of Chongqing Tongzhuotai Plastic Surgery Hospital, presented on "Precautions for Dermal Toxin Injections by Facial Area," while Liu Yanhua, director of Sichuan Huameizixin Medical Aesthetic Hospital, gave a lecture titled "Anatomy and Application for Calf Botulinum Toxin Injections." Lastly, Professor Bai Zhuowanli from the Department of Plastic Surgery at Xi'an Jiaotong University First Hospital delivered a lecture on "Toxin Injection Techniques for Special Areas."
A Hugel representative said, "As the only domestic company to enter the Chinese toxin market, we are honored to participate in the 10th China Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Conference and hold an exclusive academic symposium.
