Gyeonggi Province is inviting applications from educational cooperation institutions in the northern Gyeonggi region to conduct a training course for specialized electric vehicle maintenance personnel.

The training of specialized electric vehicle maintenance personnel is a newly launched project by Gyeonggi Province aimed at nurturing electric vehicle maintenance workers and creating high value-added jobs in response to the paradigm shift in the automotive industry.

Through understanding the basic structure of electric vehicles, practical training in electric vehicle maintenance skills, and employment support programs, the project will cultivate field-customized talent and support employment in the relevant sector.

This call for applications is open to educational training institutions in the province specializing in electric vehicle maintenance, provided they possess training capabilities and infrastructure in the field. Selected educational cooperation institutions will be responsible for operating educational programs in electric vehicle maintenance and discovering and connecting trainees with employment opportunities.

Applications must be submitted by the 25th of this month. For more details, please refer to the Gyeonggi Job Foundation website.

An Chi-kwon, Director of the Job and Economic Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, emphasized, "Gyeonggi Province is continuously striving to nurture talent in preparation for future growth industries. Through this call for educational institutions, we will work hard to provide Gyeonggi residents with educational opportunities for a better future."

Meanwhile, the training for specialized electric vehicle maintenance personnel targeting the unemployed and middle-aged groups will be conducted in the southern region (Hwaseong) from May, and in the northern region from June after the selection of educational institutions.
