Gyeongnam Office of Education: "Let's Joyfully Celebrate Library Day!"

The Gyeongnam Office of Education has prepared a variety of events to celebrate Library Day on the 12th.

According to the Office of Education, this year’s Library Day is the first legal commemorative day since the revision of the Library Act.

The Office of Education announced on the 11th that it will hold events throughout April under the theme "The Light of Culture Without Boundaries, Library," including the 59th Library Week from the 12th to the 18th and Book Day on the 23rd.

▲ Gimhae Wisdom Sea Library’s ‘Park Wan’s Musical Reading Man’ ▲ Yangsan Library’s ‘The Red Bean Porridge Grandma and the Tiger Told by the Sand’ ▲ Samcheonpo Library’s ‘Picture Book Author Miu’s One-Person Show’ ▲ Masan Wisdom Sea Library’s healing performance ‘Because We Have to Live Together’ ▲ Sancheong Jirisan Library’s ‘Buttocks Reading Contest’ ▲ Haman Library’s ‘From Disability Day to World Book Day’ are also prepared.

The events will be held at 27 public libraries under the Office of Education, and detailed information can be obtained by contacting each library.

A public library official from the Office of Education said, “We hope this will be an opportunity to go on an outing to the library in this perfect season for reading and fully enjoy the light of culture.”
