The session aimed to form regional consensus and gather diverse opinions from residents through explanations of the project progress and basic plan (draft), followed by Q&A and opinion collection.
Gumi City plans to finalize the basic plan (draft) by reflecting residents' opinions and demands, hold a final report meeting in June, and aims to start construction in October this year. Among the five sub-projects, the remaining two?forest camping site and wooden culture experience center?are also planned for development and detailed design services this year.
Kim Eontae, head of the Seonsan Branch Office, stated, “As this project is expected to bring new vitality to the Seonsan area, we will continue to share information about the project with residents and ask for their encouragement and active cooperation for the successful implementation of the project.”
The 'Seonsan Forest Recreation Town Development Project' is a large-scale forest project initiated to realize happiness in citizens' daily lives and improve quality of life.
