The Integrated Safety Management Support Council was established to minimize safety management blind spots in industrial complexes and tenant companies by supporting safety-related projects of related organizations as a package, along with joint safety inspections by participating institutions. It plans to enhance the efficiency of safety support activities by jointly promoting safety management activities that were previously dispersed among individual organizations within the industrial complex.
The Integrated Industrial Complex Safety Management Support Council consists of local governments and six safety-related organizations, and supports tenant companies in the industrial complex by mutually linking and supporting each organization's activities such as ▲joint safety management (inspections, education, etc.) ▲joint promotion of support projects (establishment of an industrial complex-type integrated platform, etc.) ▲joint response to disaster accidents ▲information and data sharing and linkage ▲collaborative task and policy planning.
An official from the Industrial Complex Corporation said, "We expect this council's launch to be a turning point in promoting integrated and cooperative safety management of industrial complexes by utilizing the accumulated capabilities of each organization," adding, "We plan to expand this initiative nationwide starting with the Ulsan National Industrial Complex in cooperation with the government."
