Beautiful Daegwang Beach and One Million Tulips... A Gift of Memories Time

Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do held the opening ceremony of the ‘2023 Island Tulip Festival’ at Imjado Tulip & Hongmaehwa Garden from the 7th to the 16th, lasting 10 days.

According to the county on the 11th, the Island Tulip Festival offers various attractions, experiences, and sights under the slogan “Get intoxicated with tulips... Travel to Shinan...”

In particular, to create lasting memories for tourists visiting the festival site, various programs such as making tulip lanterns, caricature drawing, pressed flower postcard making, salt ballpoint pen making, and busking are held.

Also, coinciding with the opening ceremony, the tulips are in full bloom, and the colorful flowers harmonize with Imja Daegwang Beach, promising to give visitors to the Island Tulip Festival a beautiful and memorable time.

County Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “With one million tulips blooming, it has now become Korea’s representative spring flower festival,” and added, “I hope all visitors to the festival leave with hope.”
