Dongbu Entec Donates 10 Million Won to Residents of Changwon Special City

Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced that Dongbu Entech, the private consignment operator of the Jinhae Resource Recovery Facility, donated 10 million KRW in scholarships to students in the Idong area of Jinhae-gu on the 11th.


The donation ceremony was attended by Cho Myung-rae, the 2nd Vice Mayor of Changwon City, Ryu Kwang-sung, CEO of Dongbu Entech, and Lee Sang-chul, Chairman of the nonprofit organization The Addition. The donation will be delivered through The Addition, the donating organization, and recipients will be selected in cooperation with the Idong Administrative Welfare Center.

The Jinhae Resource Recovery Facility in Changwon City is a combustible household waste incineration facility located in Deoksan-dong, Jinhae-gu, with a daily incineration capacity of 50 tons. Dongbu Entech is an environmental facility specialist company that has been operating the Jinhae Resource Recovery Facility for three years since 2021, managing 10 large-scale incineration facilities nationwide and constructing 12 facilities. This donation was specially decided for the residents living near the incineration facility.


Vice Mayor Cho said, “The scholarship donated by Dongbu Entech will greatly support the educational development of students in the Idong area. The warm love and concern of the private consignment operator managing the waste treatment facility for local residents will be conveyed to the community, fostering mutual cooperation between the operator and residents, which will help Changwon City to process waste stably and smoothly.”
