Professors at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital Stand Out at International Academic Conference

Professors Jeong Seonghun and An Seoyeon Receive Excellent Paper Award and Best Poster Award

Professors from the Department of Hematology at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital received academic recognition for their paper at an international academic conference.

According to Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital on the 11th, Professor Jung Seong-hoon recently received the Excellent Paper Award at the 2023 Korean Society of Hematology International Conference (ICKSH 2023) held at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul.

Professor Jung was recognized for his contribution to academic advancement through his paper titled "Real-World evidence of levofloxacin prophylaxis in elderly patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who received bortezomib, melphalan, and prednisone regimen."

Professor Ahn Seo-yeon also received the Best Poster Presentation Award for her outstanding research achievement with the paper "Clinical significance of bZIP in-frame CEBPA mutated normal karyotype acute myeloid leukemia" at this conference.

Meanwhile, the Korean Society of Hematology International Conference, held annually, introduces the latest research results and technological trends in the field of hematology and serves as a platform for domestic and international experts to exchange opinions. This conference attracts not only hematology researchers and experts from South Korea but also international researchers and researchers from other fields interested in hematology.
