Seven Eleven announced on the 11th that it will hold a 1+1 and 2+1 free gift promotion on 15 major black food products in celebration of Black Day this month.

The 1+1 free gift products include 6 items: Ottogi Mayo Jjajang Fried Big Cup, Samyang Kutik Essential Jjajang Big Cup, Harim The Misik Unijajangmyeon One Bowl, Ottogi Jjajang Cupbap, Chilsung Pepsi Cola Zero 500ml, and Chilsung Pepsi Cola Zero Mango 500ml.

The 2+1 free gift products include 9 items: Nongshim Szechuan Jjapagetti Bag, Nongshim Jjapagetti Big Bowl, Nongshim Szechuan Jjapagetti Big Bowl, Nongshim Angry Jjapaguri Big Bowl, Nongshim Shinbokgetti Big Bowl, Ottogi Cup Noodle Jjajang Flavor Small Cup, Ottogi Jjashulraeng Bag, Coca-Cola Zero 355ml, and Chilsung Pepsi Cola Zero 355ml.

According to Seven Eleven, sales of jjajang ramen doubled in April 14 last year compared to the previous month. Frozen jjajangmyeon sales increased by 70%, pickled radish by 20%, and cola by 15%.

A Seven Eleven official said, “We prepared this event so that customers can choose and purchase various black products at reasonable prices throughout the month,” adding, “We will continue to strive to improve customer satisfaction through various promotions and events tailored to consumer trends.”
