Agricultural and Food Export Consultation, Product Promotion, and Sales Events

Hamyang County in Gyeongnam is operating a Southeast Asia market development team composed of County Governor Jin Byeong-yeong, county officials, local export companies, and export agricultural corporations (associations) for six days from the 10th to the 15th to pioneer overseas markets.

This market development team plans to hold agricultural and food product promotion events and export consultation meetings in Thailand. Additionally, they will visit the aT ASEAN Regional Headquarters Bangkok branch and the Korea-Thailand Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss ways to expand exports and diversify the local export roadmap.

In Singapore, they will hold buyer consultations and visit Shengsion Market to discuss measures for export expansion and entry into new markets. The strategy is to enhance export competitiveness for Thailand and Singapore, which serve as Hamyang County’s forward bases for Southeast Asian exports.

Governor Jin said, “We will do our best to widely promote the excellence of Hamyang County’s agricultural products in Thailand and Singapore and to diversify and expand exports.”
