The Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation has initiated direct communication with small business owners and SMEs in the province.

On the 10th, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation announced that Chairman Si Seok-jung held the '2023 First Half Town Hall Meeting' at the large training room of the Gyeonggi R&DB Center in Suwon Gwanggyo Technovalley, inviting about 100 small business owners and SME representatives from the province.

This is the first time among public institutions in Gyeonggi Province that the head of a public institution has met directly with residents to discuss the institution's vision and policies and exchanged free and honest opinions.

The event was organized to share Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation's new vision, "A Business Success Partner Leading Gyeonggi, the Center of Change and Opportunity," and to explain major support projects and future directions aimed at supporting small business owners struggling with triple hardships such as high inflation.

The event proceeded with an opening, congratulatory remarks, policy briefing, Q&A, and communication session.

Attendees expressed severe financial difficulties due to high interest rates and requested that Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation actively develop low-interest guarantee products to alleviate financial burdens.

They also urged the activation of guarantee support through branch consultations and the use of mobile applications.

Chairman Si Seok-jung responded, "The livelihood economy crisis is expected to be prolonged," and promised, "Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will be a pillar of the people's economy to help SMEs and small business owners endure this crisis."

He added, "This event was organized to listen to voices from the field to redefine the foundation's roles and functions," emphasizing, "Going forward, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation will establish itself as a reliable partner of the livelihood economy through continuous communication, opinion gathering, and internal innovation."

Starting with the southern region town hall meeting held that day, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to hold town hall meetings in the western, eastern, and northern regions to hear vivid voices from all 31 cities and counties in the province.

Meanwhile, since his inauguration, Chairman Si Seok-jung has attracted attention for his distinctive field management by holding meetings with mayors and county heads of all 31 cities and counties in the province, establishing and operating a customer advisory committee, and hosting town hall meetings for on-site communication.
