The Jeonnam 119 Special Rescue Team is putting all their efforts into finding a woman in her 70s who has been missing for three days after going to gather wild greens.

According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 10th, a report was received on the 8th that a woman did not return after going to gather wild greens in Heuksan-myeon, Sinan-gun.

The special rescue team members are continuing search activities using rescue dogs and drones.

Meanwhile, the Jeonnam 119 Special Rescue Team received a report on the 3rd about an elderly woman in her 80s missing in Yuchi-myeon, Jangheung-gun, and after seven days of search efforts, they found the missing person near a waterway in Joyang-ri, Yuchi-myeon, Jangheung-gun, and handed her over to the police.

Kim Jae-seung, head of the 119 Special Response Unit, said, “We will respond with full force by escalating the early search phase and requesting support to ensure the safety of the missing person.”
