Gwangju Seo-gu Council, Appointment Letter for 2022 Fiscal Year Settlement Inspection Committee Member

The Seo-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City appointed the settlement inspection committee on the 10th to conduct an overall audit of the revenue and expenditure budget execution for the 2022 fiscal year.

The settlement inspection committee consists of four members: Councilor Im Seonghwa of Seo-gu Council (chief inspector), tax accountant Cha Ilheon, accountant Kim Heepyo, and former Seo-gu Council Secretary-General Lee Jaein. They will be active for a total of 20 days from today until the 29th.

Based on the settlement report submitted by Seo-gu Office, they will inspect the legality, appropriateness, and effectiveness of the overall budget execution, including the settlement of revenue and expenditure for the 2022 fiscal year, settlement of continuing and explicit carryover funds and accidental carryover funds, settlement of bonds and debts, and settlement of assets and funds.

At the appointment ceremony, Go Gyeongae, Chairperson of Seo-gu Council, requested, “Please thoroughly review whether the 2022 fiscal year budget was executed efficiently and according to its purpose, and do your best to ensure that this settlement inspection can serve as a foundation for sound financial management.”

Meanwhile, the settlement details for the 2022 fiscal year are scheduled to be approved at the 312th Seo-gu Council’s 1st regular session, which will open in June.
