The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association will hold training sessions to strengthen market access capabilities and purchase consultation meetings inviting MDs from major retailers for female CEOs and executives of women-owned businesses.

This program is part of the Association's 'Support Project for Strengthening Market Access Capabilities of Women-Owned Businesses,' designed to discover outstanding women-owned products and support the establishment of popular brands and expansion of sales channels.

First, on the 26th, training to strengthen market access capabilities for women-owned businesses will be conducted. The training, available both online and offline, will cover △methods to enter distribution markets △analysis of this year’s consumer trends △customized market access capability enhancement △success stories of key personnel from major online commerce platforms. It will be held four times within the year, targeting a total of about 600 women-owned businesses.

Starting next month, purchase consultation meetings inviting MDs will also be held. These meetings will invite personnel from major retailers and MDs from various fields to provide △sharing of success stories in distribution channels △procedures for entering distribution channels △customized sales strategies tailored to product characteristics. The purchase consultation meetings will be held three times within the year, with about 200 women-owned businesses able to participate.

Applications for the market access capability training start on the 10th, and for the purchase consultation meetings on the 17th. Detailed information can be found on the 'Women-Owned Business Comprehensive Information Portal' and the 'Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association' websites.

Lee Jeong-han, President of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, "Although many excellent women-owned products are launched every year, sales often remain sluggish due to a lack of marketing and market access capabilities. We plan to continuously support professional training and customized consultations so that promising women-owned products can shine."
