Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province has completed the installation of 1,107 jack supports on 16 bridges along the Tancheon Stream.

On the 10th, Seongnam City announced that it had completed the installation of a total of 1,107 structures on 16 bridges along the Tancheon Stream to prevent cracks, collapses, and other damage caused by excessive loads and vibrations on the deck structures.

Based on the inspection results, the city will decide whether to lift the current restrictions on pedestrian and vehicle traffic on Buljeonggyo, Sunaegyo, and Geumgokgyo.

Furthermore, detailed safety inspections including non-destructive testing will be carried out on the other 14 bridges along Bundang Tancheon by the 21st, and the remaining 192 bridges in the jurisdiction will undergo self-inspections by the 14th to assess their safety risks.
