Polaris Office is selling its stake in Selvas Healthcare. The cash secured will be used to discover future businesses for the advancement of the 'AI (Artificial Intelligence) Office.'
On the 10th, Polaris Office announced that it will dispose of 3,157,929 shares of Selvas Healthcare through on-market sales. The transfer amount is approximately 36.9 billion KRW based on Selvas Healthcare's closing price of 11,670 KRW on the 7th.
Selvas Healthcare is a smart healthcare specialized company that developed medical diagnostic devices such as 'Acunic' and assistive technology devices for the visually impaired such as 'HIMS.' Polaris Office acquired a 14.57% stake in Selvas Healthcare in 2018 for investment purposes.
With this sale, Polaris Office is expected to gain a large investment profit compared to 6.6 billion KRW based on the closing price of 2,090 KRW at the end of last year.
A Polaris Office official stated, "The secured funds will be invested in promoting new businesses centered on the AI Office."
Recently, Polaris Office has been focusing on developing the AI office platform 'Polaris Office AI.' Polaris Office AI is a new document creation service equipped with generative AI language models such as ChatGPT, HyperCLOVA, and Stable Diffusion.
