Ulsan City to Support Housing Costs up to 150,000 KRW per Month for 761 Youth Households

This Year's Eligible Young Households for Housing Cost Support Confirmed

Ulsan City has confirmed 761 households as beneficiaries of this year's 'Youth Household Housing Cost Support Project,' which helps young people stabilize their housing and settle in the region.

The total number of supported households is 761, significantly expanded from the initially planned 500 households.

This project provides cash housing cost support for up to four years to single-person households aged 19 to 39 who do not own a home (with rental deposits under 100 million KRW and monthly rent under 500,000 KRW).

Selected households will receive up to 150,000 KRW per month in actual expenses, including 100,000 KRW for rent and 50,000 KRW for rental deposit interest, starting from April.

Ulsan City accepted online applications from February 10 to March 10, and after screening, expanded the number of beneficiaries as much as possible within the budget.

Selected households can receive housing cost support by submitting proof of previously paid housing expenses through the Ulsan Housing Support Portal website by the 20th.

Ulsan City stated, "Considering the high interest and strong response from young people, we plan to gradually increase the number of supported households and adjust the support criteria."

In the first year of the project last year, a total of 828 households were selected as beneficiaries.
