Busan Bank Begins Operations as Regional General Trustee for Housing and Urban Fund

BNK Busan Bank will begin full-scale operations as a ‘Regional General Trustee Institution’ for the Housing and Urban Fund.


Customers in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas can receive Didimdol Loans (housing purchase loans) and Buteemok Loans (jeonse deposit loans) from Busan Bank.


The Didimdol Loan is available at a minimum annual interest rate of 1.20%, and the Buteemok Loan at a minimum annual interest rate of 1.00%, with rates subject to change according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s notices.

Customers wishing to apply for loans can receive detailed consultations through the Housing and Urban Fund’s ‘Fund e-Dundun’ website, Busan Bank branches in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions, or the dedicated Housing and Urban Fund customer center at Busan Bank.


Busan Bank will also begin handling the issuance of National Housing Bonds, which are mandatory for housing transactions, thereby enhancing customer convenience.


Kim Cheol-min, Head of Retail Finance at Busan Bank, stated, “With the implementation of the Housing and Urban Fund’s ‘Regional General Trustee Institution’ operations, we can now offer low-interest housing-related loans to local customers. We will continue to explore various ways to enable more local residents to conveniently use the Housing and Urban Fund loans.”
