During the 25th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival held in Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, the KTX will make temporary stops at Hampyeong Station.
According to the county on the 3rd, from April 28th, when the Butterfly Festival opens, until May 7th, for 10 days, the KTX will temporarily stop at Hampyeong three times a day.
This temporary KTX stop at Hampyeong Station was arranged by Korail to provide convenience to tourists from the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region visiting the Hampyeong Butterfly Festival.
During the festival period, the KTX will operate three times daily on the down line departing from Yongsan Station (6:28 AM, 7:46 AM, 8:19 AM) and three times daily on the up line departing from Hampyeong Station (4:07 PM, 5:11 PM, 6:15 PM).
The county plans to operate shuttle buses running back and forth between Hampyeong Station and the festival site (Hampyeong Expo Park) for the convenience of KTX passengers, and will offer various incentives such as discounts on festival admission tickets.
Meanwhile, the 25th Hampyeong Butterfly Festival will be held from April 28th to May 7th at Hampyeong Expo Park, featuring a variety of programs including hands-on experiences, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic events.
