Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, held the '2023 Youth Autonomous Organization Launch Ceremony' at the Changnyeong-gun Youth Training Center on March 31.
At the launch ceremony, more than 70 youths attended, including the Director of the Elderly, Women, and Children Division, a director of the Pureun Shelter Scholarship Foundation, and the Deputy Director of the Changnyeong-gun Youth Training Center.

The Youth Autonomous Organization selected a total of 14 members for the Youth Participation Committee, 20 members for the Youth Operating Committee, and 100 youths across 14 fields for Youth Clubs through open recruitment or recommendations targeting elementary, middle, and high school students within the county.
The 'Youth Participation Committee' presents opinions on youth-related policies of the county, while the 'Youth Operating Committee' monitors the facilities to ensure that youths can use the training center comfortably.
The 'Youth Clubs' will participate continuously in programs with confidence and a sense of belonging through various activities that utilize their special skills and characteristics.
A county official stated, “We will actively support youths to engage in diverse activities through participation organizations led by the youths themselves.”
