Park Hee-deok, CEO of PharmGen Science, Promoted to Vice Chairman

PharmGen Science announced on the 3rd that CEO Hee-Deok Park has been promoted to Vice Chairman.


Vice Chairman Park, born in 1968, graduated from Dongcheon High School in Busan and majored in Applied Statistics at Dong-A University before earning a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Industry Studies from Chung-Ang University. After joining Joa Pharmaceutical in 1996, he handled production, logistics, and contract manufacturing (CMO) tasks, and was recruited by PharmGen Science in 2013. Since then, he has served as Head of the Special Business Division, Head of the Management Support Division, and Head of the Production Division, before being appointed CEO in 2019, overseeing overall management.


Vice Chairman Park started as an employee and rose to become the CEO of a publicly listed pharmaceutical company. Through changes in sales strategy and business expansion, he increased the annual sales from 89.1 billion KRW before his appointment to 150.9 billion KRW last year. He also introduced a flexible and horizontal corporate culture by implementing complete casual dress code, simplifying job ranks, and unifying titles.


Vice Chairman Park said, "It is thanks to the dedication of all employees that we, who surpassed 100 billion KRW in annual sales just two years ago, now have a goal of 200 billion KRW," adding, "I will strive to make PharmGen Science the most outstanding company so that the company's growth becomes your happiness and to reward your efforts."
