Do you know floorball?
The floorball club of the Department of Physical Education at Silla University donates their sports talents. Floorball, originating from Sweden, is a sport that enjoys the excitement and fun of hockey using sticks and a ball.
Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 3rd that the Department of Physical Education has been finally selected for the sports sharing culture project "2023 YOUNG MOVERS," sponsored by the Descente Sports Foundation.
YOUNG MOVERS is a talent donation project that supports physical education students in teaching sports activities to local children and youth and fostering a local sports sharing culture.
Operated by the Descente Sports Foundation since 2019, universities that pass the evaluation criteria receive 10 million KRW in project funding.

This achievement was made possible by the sweat and meticulous efforts of the club members. It is known that the foundation gave high overall scores in the project plan, execution capability, and commitment to promotion, including the preparation and writing of the proposal.
Nam O-sik (4th year, Well-being Physical Education Department) said, "All team members poured their passion into being selected for the project, which I think helped us achieve good results," adding, "We will execute the project goal of '4GO! (LearnGO, EnjoyGO, ShareGO, GrowGO)' to promote the Department of Physical Education at Silla University and make it the best social contribution sports program by dedicating our efforts."
Pegasus is the only floorball club in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) region, continuously showing interest and effort in revitalizing floorball through enhancing major competencies and donating sports talents to youth.
