Dynamic Design announced on the 3rd that it has signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) regarding the acquisition of business rights and shares of PT. TirtaAlam Mineral (hereinafter PT. TAM), a nickel ore transportation and sales corporation, as well as sales rights for nickel ore.
PT. TAM is an affiliate of PT. ATN Indonesia Mineral (hereinafter PT. AIM), with which it signed an MOU on January 27. When PT. AIM obtains the IUP-OP (mining business license) for the Konawe mine, the nickel ore mined from that mine is planned to be distributed by PT. TAM located in Sulawesi, making this MOA essential.
The MOA includes an agreement to acquire more than 51% of PT. TAM’s shares, which holds the nickel ore transportation and sales license (IUPK P&P), and the company stated that it will guarantee annual nickel ore distribution sales of over 600,000 tons along with certain profits.
A representative from Dynamic Design said, “We have received various collaboration proposals from PT. AIM and its affiliates,” adding, “By accelerating the nickel ore-related business within diverse collaboration structures, we expect not only new revenue generation but also improvements in profitability and financial structure.”
Furthermore, the representative added, “To strengthen cost competitiveness in the existing tire mold business, we completed land acquisition last year in the Cirebon area of Indonesia for establishing a tire mold factory,” and stated, “Construction is scheduled to begin within the first half of this year, and alongside the existing tire mold business, we will enhance both stability and growth potential through the new nickel ore business.”
