Conners ranked 28th in the men's weekly world golf rankings announced on the 3rd, with a rating of 2.7593. He rose 12 spots from 40th place last week.


He shot a 4-under-par 68 in the final round of the tournament held at the TPC San Antonio Oaks Course (par 72) in San Antonio, Texas, finishing with a total of 15-under-par 273 to edge out Sam Stevens (USA) by one stroke and claim the title. After earning his first career victory through Monday qualifying at this event in 2019, he secured his second PGA Tour win on the same stage four years later. The winner's prize money was $1,602,000 (approximately 2.1 billion KRW).


By finishing tied for 6th place (10-under-par 278) in this tournament, Byeonghun An (32), who entered his second top 10 of the 2022?2023 season, rose 25 spots in the world rankings to 144th place.


World number one remained Scottie Scheffler (USA), with no changes in the rankings for Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Jon Rahm (Spain), and Patrick Cantlay (USA) at 2nd to 4th places. Max Homa (USA) moved up one spot to 5th place, while Cameron Smith (Australia), who was 5th last week, dropped to 6th.


Among domestic players, Sungjae Im (25) held steady at 18th, Juhyung Kim (21) at 19th, and Siwoo Kim (28) at 39th, while Kyung-hoon Lee (32) dropped from 41st to 43rd place.
