At a gathering of a local prosecutor's office, allegations have arisen that a senior female prosecutor, intoxicated, sexually harassed a junior male prosecutor, prompting the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to launch an investigation.

According to the legal community on the 3rd, Ms. A, a senior female prosecutor belonging to a local prosecutor's office, made inappropriate physical contact with Mr. B, a junior prosecutor from the same office, who was supporting her as she staggered while intoxicated during a drinking session with fellow prosecutors. It is also reported that she made inappropriate remarks to Mr. B, such as "Let's go to my house."

Following the incident, the prosecutor's office reassigned Ms. A, who was part of the Criminal Division 1, to another department.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office is expected to take appropriate measures after accurately determining the circumstances by questioning those present at the gathering. However, it is known that Mr. B expressed that he does not wish to raise the issue regarding the incident.
