Measures Prepared for Noise and Crowds Related to Black Eagles

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that it conducted benchmarking by visiting the festival sites of the ‘Jinhae Gunhangje Festival’ and the ‘Suncheonman International Garden Expo’ to ensure the successful hosting of the 11th Boseong World Tea Expo.

This field trip was arranged to thoroughly prepare for the Boseong World Tea Expo by directly experiencing excellent festivals in other cities and counties and reflecting them in the Expo.

The participants toured the venues of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival and the Suncheonman International Garden Expo, focusing on event operations such as the opening ceremony, Black Eagles airshow, auxiliary programs, and audience flow guidance.

In particular, they watched the Black Eagles airshow held at Jinhae Public Stadium and exchanged opinions on noise countermeasures.

The Boseong World Tea Expo is an annual event held to promote domestic and international tea culture exchange and industry development. This year, it will be held as an integrated festival throughout Boseong-gun from April 29 to May 7.

The Boseong World Tea Expo is composed of various festivals and side events under the theme “Boseong Tea of a Thousand Years, Embracing the World,” including the Boseong Dahyang Grand Festival, Seopyeonje Boseong Sound Festival, Fireworks Festival, nationwide sports competitions (yachting, ssireum, marathon), Illimsan Azalea Festival, Beolgyo Mudflat Leisure Boat Competition, and Boseong Citizens’ Day.

The opening ceremony of the ‘2023 11th Boseong World Tea Expo’ is scheduled for 3 p.m. on April 29, featuring a spectacular airshow by the Republic of Korea Air Force’s special flight team, the Black Eagles.

Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong-gun, said, “The answer is always on site.” He added, “I hope that through this visit, everyone will see, learn, and feel a lot, and then do their best in their respective roles and efforts to ensure the successful hosting of the Boseong World Tea Expo.”
