Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is publicly recruiting career-interrupted women and marriage immigrant women who wish to receive continuous mentoring from experts in various fields such as employment, certification, and entrepreneurship to support their advancement into social and economic sectors through women's skill development.
On the 3rd, Nam-gu announced that it will carry out the "Customized Mentor-Mentee Program for Career-Interrupted Women," which supports continuous activities between women who have stopped economic activities due to pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, family care, and professional mentors.
The Customized Mentor-Mentee Program for Career-Interrupted Women involves mentors who are experts in employment, certification acquisition, entrepreneurship, public contest projects, and social economy fields, and applications are being accepted from women who wish to participate as mentees until the 11th.
Mentors in the entrepreneurship and public contest project fields will conduct regular weekly mentoring sessions from mid-April to November, targeting 3 to 5 mentees, including career-interrupted women, per mentor.
In the employment and certification acquisition fields, a representative from Songwon College's Women's New Work Center will participate as a mentor and plans to provide job training necessary for employment and certification acquisition as needed.
Mentee applicants must be career-interrupted women or marriage immigrant women residing in Nam-gu who wish to find employment. The number of participants ranges from 10 to 25, and participation is free of charge.
