Toss Securities Appoints 'TikTok Veteran' Kim Seung-yeon as New CEO for a 2-Year Term

Toss Securities announced on the 3rd that it held its regular shareholders' meeting on the 30th of last month and appointed Kim Seung-yeon as the new CEO. The term is a total of two years, until March 2025.

CEO Kim is an expert specialized in platform business and mobile products. He has worked at global companies such as Google and Metaps Plus, and served as General Manager for Korea and Southeast Asia at TikTok.

A representative of Toss Securities stated, "CEO Kim's experience in managing organizations at global companies and his capability to establish and stabilize new businesses in rapidly growing companies are expected to greatly contribute to Toss Securities' organizational management and future business expansion."

CEO Kim said, "Based on my past experience, I will advance the services that Toss Securities has developed so far to the next level, while presenting new insights and visions to the team to provide better services to our customers."
