SK Magic is targeting the sleep tech market as a new growth engine following mattresses. SK Magic (CEO Yoon Yo-seop) announced on the 3rd that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with sleep tech specialist BRlab to establish a mutual cooperation relationship for targeting the sleep tech market, including the development of mattresses incorporating sleep improvement solutions.
Through this agreement, the two companies agreed to actively collaborate on developing mattresses that incorporate sleep monitoring and sleep improvement solutions. They plan to lead the sleep tech market by launching a new-concept mattress reflecting these features in the second half of this year.

원본보기 아이콘BRlab is a sleep tech specialist company that provides sleep environment improvement solutions by monitoring sleep status through sensors embedded in mattresses. The company was founded by master's and doctoral graduates from the Biomedical Signal and Information Laboratory at Seoul National University, transferring patented technology from Seoul National University. Clinical trials conducted with the Sleep Polysomnography Laboratory at Seoul National University Hospital have proven the effectiveness of sleep monitoring and deep sleep induction through parasympathetic nerve activation.
Yoon Yo-seop, CEO of SK Magic, said, "Based on the core competencies of both companies, we believe this will be an opportunity to introduce the world's most advanced mattresses," adding, "We will spare no investment and support to provide customers with an optimized sleep environment."
