7-Eleven announced on the 3rd that it will introduce the easy payment system 'Chungbuk National University Pay' developed with Chungbuk National University to all 7-Eleven stores nationwide and provide ongoing discount benefits.

When paying with Chungbuk National University Pay, a 10% discount will be offered on rice balls, baked goods, bread, and dairy beverages. Within this year, 1% of the amount spent using Chungbuk National University Pay will be donated to the school as scholarships.

7-Eleven has established an industry-academic cooperation with Chungbuk National University and will utilize the payment data generated through Chungbuk National University Pay for marketing and product development, while the university will use the data for research support purposes. Customers who newly sign up for Chungbuk National University Pay by the 31st of next month will receive a 2,000 KRW 7-Eleven mobile gift certificate.

A 7-Eleven representative said, “We planned this agreement to support the activation of Chungbuk National University Pay, which was created with a good purpose,” adding, “We will continue to enhance the welfare of university students and develop this into a positive industry-academic cooperation.”
