Gyeongsang National University to Hold High School Visit Admission Briefing for Next Year

Gyeongsang National University will hold an "Admission Consulting and Admission Information Session" (High School Visit Admission Information Session) for third-year students at over 250 high schools nationwide to recruit outstanding freshmen for the 2024 academic year.

According to the university, this year's admission consulting period will be extended by about 15 days compared to last year, running from late April to early September. High schools wishing to host the high school visit admission information session must apply online by the 7th of this month.

The operation method involves admission officers visiting high schools in person to provide customized admission explanations and consulting tailored to each admission screening type. Additionally, depending on the educational curriculum conditions of each high school, customized admission counseling will also be conducted using offline and online video conferencing systems.

During the admission consulting and information sessions, detailed information will be provided to students wishing to enter Gyeongsang National University, including admission information by screening type for the 2024 academic year, guidance on application strategies, and disclosure of last year's admission results.

Gyeongsang National University revealed that, based on the results of the "Dream and Future Pioneering Admission Consulting" conducted last year targeting 239 schools and institutions nationwide and about 15,000 participants, as well as a survey, most of the participating students found it very helpful for preparing for university entrance exams and planning their career and academic paths.

Kim Deok-hwan, Director of Admissions, stated, "By providing accurate admission information that is genuinely helpful during the approximately five-month nationwide admission consulting and information sessions, we will contribute to alleviating the anxiety of examinees and parents regarding university entrance." He added, "In particular, we will strive to ensure that excellent students nationwide obtain accurate information about Gyeongsang National University's competitiveness and other aspects, encouraging them to enroll at Gyeongsang National University."
