Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 20th that 2,355 residents found employment through last year's "Visiting Job Counseling" project.
LH provided customized employment, education, and welfare-related counseling services to a total of 8,887 residents in 212 rental housing complexes located in the metropolitan area and five major metropolitan cities, among whom 2,355 secured jobs. Employment-related education and consulting were supported for 472 people.
The Visiting Job Counseling program involves job and welfare professional counselors directly visiting LH rental housing complexes to provide employment counseling and consulting to residents in need of jobs.
In particular, it offers comprehensive personalized services such as linking to vocational training services and welfare service support.
In connection with government employment policies, residents in employment blind spots such as youth preparing for independence, elderly living alone, and multicultural families were recommended to the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
LH plans to continuously promote the "Visiting Job Counseling and Employment-Welfare Linkage Service" this year as well to support employment for more residents.
