HiM Solutec, which is in charge of service maintenance for LG Electronics' system air conditioners, chillers, and air conditioning equipment, announced the launch of an online maintenance service for LG chiller products.


HiM Solutec has laid the foundation for sustainable growth as sales of LG Electronics' chiller maintenance business increased by 23% compared to the previous year. As part of enhancing customer service to expand the market and ensure comfortable use of heating and cooling systems without inconvenience, they newly introduced the LG Electronics chiller online maintenance service.


Since downtime of chillers and air conditioning systems can lead to production and business interruptions in industrial and commercial facilities, causing significant inconvenience and damage, HiM Solutec is focusing on building a system to 'minimize customer inconvenience.' To prevent product failures and maintain performance, HiM Solutec offers a chiller maintenance service that combines eight basic services and twelve optional services, including regular inspections, consumable replacements, and various data analyses.


The newly launched LG chiller online maintenance service allows customers to remotely check the operation information of their products without on-site visits through the installation of an AI engine and LTE terminal. In particular, by providing cloud services based on communication networks, it reduces installation costs and enables easy connection compared to using existing wired networks. Based on cloud data, it analyzes and inspects product conditions occurring during operation and can predict not only maintenance but also overhaul and customs inspection timings.


Additionally, by cumulatively managing operation information data, it can detect abnormalities in the product in advance. If an abnormality is detected in the device, real-time mobile alerts are sent to engineers and customers, enabling prompt service.


Moreover, HiM Solutec’s professional engineers support accurate performance measurement and customized consulting of products using special equipment such as thermal imaging cameras, power meters, endoscopic cameras, ultrasonic flow meters, precision thermometers, and vibration meters.


CEO Kwang-Yeol Yoo of HiM Solutec explained, “Efficient management of chillers and air conditioning systems is a key factor not only for simple heating and cooling but also for quality control at production sites and improving employees’ working environments. Considering this, we are focusing on differentiated online service advancement beyond simple repairs and inspections, aiming at improving production and working environments.” He added, “In the future, we plan to continuously introduce customized maintenance services specialized for B2B sites using not only chiller products but also system air conditioners.”


Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of the LG chiller online maintenance service, HiM Solutec is running a promotion offering free online maintenance services for two years for newly installed LG chiller Turbo products from January through the end of this year.
