The event is held for customers who pay with event cards at Homeplus marts. From the 24th for four days, all Korean beef products will be sold at up to 40% discount, and from the 28th to the 2nd of next month, they will be sold at a 50% discount.
For customers who join the My Homeplus application membership club "Meat Club," an additional 5,000 KRW discount is provided for purchases over 50,000 KRW. On the 1st of next month, Homeplus mart will give away meat tongs to the first 4,600 customers who purchase Korean beef event items worth over 100,000 KRW.
Homeplus increased the quantity for this event by 52% compared to last year's sales volume. The company planned the event as part of a win-win activity to contribute to stabilizing food prices on the occasion of "Korean Beef Day" on the 1st of next month and to support livestock farmers who have suffered due to prolonged consumer downturn.
Ahn Seonwook, a buyer from Homeplus Livestock Team, said, "As prices and exchange rates have surged, half-price products are receiving great responses from consumers," adding, "We will continue to introduce products that combine quality and price to maintain the price stabilization trend."
