Prime Minister Han Duck-soo delivered a congratulatory speech at the '2022 Women Leaders Forum' held on the 19th at the Crystal Ballroom of Lotte Hotel Seoul in Sogong-dong, stating, "Now more than ever, the achievements of women leaders are dazzling," and added, "Especially because you have reached this position through fierce challenges and extraordinary sweat and passion, the significance is even more valuable and shining." Prime Minister Han said, "This forum is even more meaningful as Asia Economy, which has walked with women leaders for the past 10 years, has expressed its intention to discover 'Power K-Women' looking ahead to the next 10 years," and congratulated, "I hope this will be a wonderful platform for discussion where everyone grows together and strengthens solidarity."

Congratulations on the eleventh anniversary of the 'Women Leaders Forum.'

I deeply appreciate the efforts of Asia Economy CEO Woo Byung-hyun and all employees for organizing this valuable event every year.

I warmly welcome and thank Chairwoman Kelly Choi of Kellydeli, Professor Lisa Sohn of Barnard College, Columbia University, former French Minister of Culture Fleur Pellerin, writer Jeong Bora, writer Lee Seul-ah, and women leaders from home and abroad who will give precious lectures today.

This forum is even more meaningful as Asia Economy, which has walked with women leaders for the past 10 years, has expressed its intention to discover 'Power K-Women' looking ahead to the next 10 years.

Respected women leaders, now more than ever, the achievements of women leaders are dazzling. Especially because you have reached this position through fierce challenges and extraordinary sweat and passion, the significance is even more valuable and shining.

From now on, it will be an era where women’s leadership demonstrates even greater value. Many women leaders are already standing tall on the global stage beyond the Republic of Korea.

They are breaking down countless barriers, creating new values, and opening the future. I look forward to you leading the future of the Republic of Korea with leadership based on communication and empathy, coexistence and inclusion.

Today’s forum is a precious occasion where women leaders active worldwide and future leaders share their wisdom and experiences generously.

I hope this will be a wonderful platform for discussion where everyone grows together and strengthens solidarity. Once again, congratulations on the holding of the 'Women Leaders Forum.'
