Kooksoondang Launches Product with 'Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival' Label on Daebak Makgeolli

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Kooksoondang announced on the 31st that it will launch Daebak Makgeolli with a promotional label for the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival, a representative festival of the Hoengseong region in Gangwon-do, to support the successful hosting of the festival.

The Daebak Makgeolli with the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival promotional label will be available at major sales points nationwide starting next month. The promotional label includes event information for the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival, which will be held from the 30th of next month to October 4th, as well as a QR code for easy access to the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival website. In addition, Kooksoondang plans to support the successful hosting of the festival by sharing festival information through its social media (SNS) accounts.

Now in its 18th year, the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival will be held in person for the first time in three years at the Hoengseong Sports Complex. It is a cultural tourism festival designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, hosted by Hoengseong County and organized by the Hoengseong Cultural Foundation. During the festival, Kooksoondang will operate a promotional booth for its traditional liquors, conduct traditional liquor brewing experience education, and hold events combining Hoengseong Hanwoo and Baekseju.

A Kooksoondang official said, "To ensure the success of the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival held in Hoengseong, where our headquarters and brewery are located, we released products nationwide with festival information on the labels," adding, "We hope many consumers visit the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
