[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 29th that it will sell a Miyazaki exclusive charter flight travel package for 3 nights and 4 days in mid-November this year. This is the first time Lotte Tour Development has resumed the Miyazaki route, which was suspended in March 2020 due to COVID-19.
This package departs from Incheon to Miyazaki on Air Busan exclusive charter flights twice (November 13 and 16), and includes all expenses such as group tourist visa issuance, rapid antigen tests, local guide and driver fees, fuel surcharges, and taxes, starting from 1,699,000 KRW per person.
As a special offer from Lotte Tour Development, a discount promotion of up to 100,000 KRW is available for early full payment by the 16th of next month. The package also provides accommodation at the Sheraton Hotel, a deluxe room upgrade on a first-come, first-served basis, and a Sheraton dinner buffet (once during the stay) made with local premium ingredients such as regional specialty beef and fresh seafood.
Main tourist attractions include Takachiho Gorge, Sunmesse Nichinan, Obi Castle Town, Udo Shrine, and the active volcano Sakurajima. Takachiho Gorge, where visitors can enjoy autumn foliage, and the Amaterasu Gorge autumn foliage train that passes over the gorge while admiring the surrounding scenery, are special itineraries unique to Lotte Tour Development that cannot be found elsewhere.
A representative from Lotte Tour Development stated, “Currently, Miyazaki is a region where domestic regular flights have not resumed, but through a special project with Miyazaki Prefecture and Air Busan, we are operating this exclusive charter flight.” They added, “We plan to offer a variety of travel courses such as nature tourism and golf tours to broaden customer choices and provide the highest satisfaction and enjoyment with accommodations at first-class hotels throughout the itinerary.”
