The mysterious fruit, which grows on palm trees native to the Amazon region of South America and has long been used by the inhabitants of the Amazon basin for food and medicinal purposes, is finally available domestically.

Although the efficacy and effects of Aguaje have been proven and widely used overseas, its import had not yet been approved in Korea. However, recently, a domestic trading company obtained import approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Aguaje is a natural fruit called the "gift of God," rich in estrogen, beta-carotene, omega 3, 6, 9, and various vitamins. This fruit, which grows only in the unpolluted Amazon region for centuries, is expected to create a positive response among many people.

Aguaje is processed into oil, powder, and powdered forms, each known to have different effects depending on the type of consumption and use. It can be ingested for inner beauty purposes to produce beneficial health effects or mixed into various cosmetic products for use on the skin, hair, nails, and more.

With the import approval of this fruit, the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries are rushing to develop various new products utilizing Aguaje.

Until now, products made from Aguaje were purchased and used through overseas direct purchases, but now they can be easily accessed domestically, raising expectations for strong interest from the domestic industry.
