HUG Establishes 'Management Innovation Task Force'... "Will Drive Intensive Innovation"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 15th that it will establish and operate a dedicated organization, the ‘Management Innovation Promotion Task Force (TF),’ to respond to the government’s public institution innovation direction.

The Management Innovation Promotion TF will identify company-wide management improvement tasks, including HUG’s major business sectors, and establish and review management innovation plans. It plans to discover and promote intensive innovation detailed tasks in four areas: ▲management efficiency through business process improvement ▲enhancement of financial soundness ▲improvement of management structure ▲strengthening public-private cooperation and coexistence.

Within the TF, a ‘Private Participation Innovation Advisory Group’ composed of external experts from academia, the legal profession, private organizations, and customers will be established. A labor-management communication council will also be operated to ensure the swift execution of innovation tasks.

Kwon Hyung-taek, President of HUG, said, “We will prepare innovation measures that the public can feel, establish ourselves as a trusted public enterprise, and actively support the achievement of government policy goals.”
