The 'Children's Disaster Safety Training' aims to move away from the traditional teacher-centered training method and instead enable students to directly identify surrounding hazards based on the educational content, and further develop the ability to find and execute self-directed response methods in the event of a disaster.
This training consisted of four sessions: ▲Understanding disasters and role-playing ▲Creating evacuation maps and writing disaster response scenarios ▲Conducting simulation training ▲Conducting field training.
Students participating in the training took part as active designers rather than passive listeners, which greatly helped them cultivate the ability to protect their own bodies in actual disaster situations.
