Park Byung-eun to Host BIFAN Opening Ceremony: "Movies Are Precious Everyday Life"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Iseul] Actor Park Byung-eun hosted the opening ceremony of the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).

On the 7th at 7 p.m., Park Byung-eun and Han Sun-hwa served as hosts at the opening ceremony held at the Bucheon City Hall Lawn Plaza, marking the start of the 26th BIFAN. This opening ceremony was especially meaningful as it was held face-to-face on an outdoor stage for the first time in three years.

That day, Park Byung-eun led the ceremony with elegant hosting. With his witty remarks, he maintained a cheerful atmosphere, filling the outdoor plaza with his voice and capturing the hearts of filmmakers on a summer night.

Park Byung-eun said, "I am glad to be part of the beginning of this meaningful event. As someone who loves movies, this film festival feels like a friend that has grown together with me. Movies are our beautiful and precious daily lives." He added, "I was happy to be with the filmmakers. Please look forward to the special journey unfolding over the next 11 days."

Meanwhile, Park Byung-eun is currently appearing in the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Eve.'
