Bank of Korea Gwangju-Jeonnam, Local University Students Visit AI Startup Camp

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Bank of Korea announced on the 29th that regional university students participating as '2022 BOK Economic Masters' conducted a visit and tour of an AI smart farm and AI startup camp to enhance their understanding of regional new growth engine industries.

The program has been operating since 2019 to provide regional university students with diverse experiences and career development opportunities, and this year, 34 students from 5 universities are participating.

Through the visit and tour, regional university students from various majors are expected to improve their understanding of AI technology and participate in AI convergence talent development programs, which will help them in their future career choices.

The Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Bank of Korea plans to actively provide various experiences and career development opportunities necessary for career decisions, such as the BOK Economic Masters and the Monetary Policy Competition, for regional university students in the future.
