[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The traditional yeonhui (Korean traditional performance) troupe 'Cheongbae Yeonhuidan,' celebrating its 21st anniversary, is visiting Sancheong.

Gyeongnam Sancheong-gun announced that on the 25th at 3 p.m., Cheongbae Yeonhuidan's performance "One (ONE)" will be held at the Gisan Gugakdang Bamboo Theater in Namsa Yedamchon, Danseong-myeon.

The term Yeonhui (演?) means to entertain people by displaying words and skills.

Founded in 2001, Cheongbae Yeonhuidan is a professional troupe composed of alumni from the Korea National University of Arts.

Based on traditional yeonhui, a comprehensive art form of traditional dance, music, and drama, their goal is to communicate with contemporary people through the cultural language of yeonhui.

Their representative performance "One (ONE)" is a yeonhui project wishing for everyone participating in the music to become one (ONE) beyond time and space.

This Sancheong performance adds experiential and folk song education time to the existing One performance, creating a show where the audience and performers make the stage together.

A county official said, "Sancheong-gun holds regular Saturday Gugak performances every weekend at Gisan Gugakdang. Since it is an opportunity to enjoy performances by masters representing Korean traditional music as well as energetic young Gugak artists every weekend, we hope many people will enjoy it."

This performance is part of the "Eolsso! San&Cheong Healing Regular Performance" held by Sancheong-gun at Gisan Gugakdang in Namsa Yedamchon, Danseong-myeon.

At Gisan Gugakdang, various Gugak performances are held every Saturday from May until November 12 (not operating during summer from July 16 to August 20). Young Gugak artists and masters who carry on the legacy of the great Gugak master Gisan Park Heon-bong appear.
