[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] MZ generation icon and American "Queen of Pop" Billie Eilish (21) is coming to Korea for the first time in four years.

Hyundai Card announced on the 23rd that Eilish will take the stage at "Hyundai Card Super Concert 26 Billie Eilish" at 8 PM on August 15 at Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome.

This will be Eilish's first concert in Korea in exactly four years since her debut visit on August 15, 2018. Having performed her first show at the 2,000-seat Yes24 Live Hall, she will now perform on the 25,000-seat Gocheok Sky Dome stage, which is 12 times larger in seating capacity.

Eilish's second planned visit in 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Debuting at age 13 in 2015, Eilish gained attention in the music industry by sweeping four major categories at the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020 as the youngest artist in Grammy history, winning "Best New Artist," "Record of the Year," "Song of the Year," and "Album of the Year."

Influenced by her musician mother, Eilish began making music as a hobby at age eleven. She gained recognition when "Ocean Eyes," created with her musician brother Finneas O'Connell, attracted attention on the music streaming service Spotify.

This Super Concert is part of the world tour commemorating the release of her second studio album "Happier Than Ever," which was released in May last year. Through this concert, Eilish plans to showcase a variety of songs from "Happier Than Ever" as well as her previously released tracks.

Eilish's team announced that a portion of the ticket sales revenue from this concert will be donated to the environmental organization REVERB. One dollar per ticket will be donated. REVERB uses the donated funds to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change caused by environmental pollution.

Resuming after more than two years, the "Hyundai Card Super Concert" is Hyundai Card's cultural marketing brand known for presenting major lineups. It has established itself as a large-scale project by hosting domestic performances of global pop stars such as Coldplay, Paul McCartney's first visit to Korea, Beyonc?, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Queen, and Kendrick Lamar.

This Eilish concert is the first Super Concert in about two years and seven months since the British band Queen's performance in January 2020.

The concert will operate with assigned seating. Pre-sale for Hyundai Card holders begins at 12 PM on July 5, and general sales start at 12 PM on the following day, July 6.
