Gwangju Shinsegae Conducts Trash Collection and Environmental Cleanup Activities

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongho Shin] Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Donghun Lee) announced on the 23rd that its executives and employees carried out garbage collection and environmental cleanup activities around the Gwangcheon-dong area on the 22nd to create a clean street free of trash.

This environmental cleanup activity involved walking through designated areas in Gwangcheon-dong to remove various trash such as discarded empty bottles and cigarette butts. In particular, efforts focused on removing sediment and fallen leaves accumulated around drainage pipes in preparation for the rainy season.

A Gwangju Shinsegae official stated, "If small actions are continuously carried out, we can create a community free of garbage," adding, "We will continue cleanup activities along the Gwangju Stream and around our business sites."
