[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] The Transition Committee for the 8th Term Jangseong County Governor (Chairman Kang Daeseok) officially announced the goals and five major administrative policies for the 8th term on the 22nd.
This content reflects the hopes and vision of the elected candidate Kim Hanjong, who will lead the county administration for the next four years, and was finalized after 13 days of gathering opinions from residents and public officials.
The administrative goal is "Harmony and Change! A Happy Jangseong for Residents," and the five major policies to implement this are: communicative harmonious administration, dignified cultural tourism, leading first-class agriculture, hopeful lifelong welfare, and a vibrant local economy.
The goals and policies were finalized after receiving 41 suggestions through the first round of opinion gathering from public officials and residents, followed by in-depth review by Governor-elect Kim Hanjong and the Transition Committee.
Chairman Kang Daeseok of the Transition Committee stated, "The newly confirmed administrative policies focus on uniting divided public sentiment and revitalizing the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, through a transformed administrative system," adding, "We will carry out an administration that treats residents as the true owners."
